Dr. Goldstein, a native Californian, attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and then continued his graduate work at Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles earning a doctorate degree in Chiropractic. Following his graduation, Dr. Goldstein joined a practice in Malibu where he worked with many professional athletes and celebrities.
In 2001, Dr. Goldstein moved back to San Diego where he split his time between two practices, one in Sorrento Valley and one in La Costa. Dr. Goldstein spent a bulk of his time consulting for the United States Golf Fitness Association. In 2002, Dr. Goldstein was asked to provide chiropractic services for the PGA Tour and Physiotherapy Associates, a division of the Stryker Corporation, the “Official Provider of Fitness Training and Physical Rehabilitation for the PGA Tour and Champions Tour”. He traveled and worked with PGA Tour players such as Vijay Singh, Ernie Els, Bob Estes, Duffy Waldorf, Stuart Appleby, K.J. Choi, Michael Campbell, Tim Herron, Jeff Sluman, and Tiger Woods.
After several years of gaining valuable experience working on the PGA Tour, Dr. Goldstein took over a busy practice in La Jolla. He converted the practice into a family, sports and auto accident injury clinic.
With over 17 years of experience, Dr. Goldstein has special training in the management and treatment of whiplash and auto accident injury recovery. With his experience and knowledge in the biomechanics of the human body, Dr. Goldstein offers advanced chiropractic, physiotherapy and massage for car accident injuries, headaches and migraines, neck pain, shoulder pain, elbow and wrist pain, pinched nerves, low back pain, sciatica, hip, knee, ankle pain and whiplash.
Office hours for Dr. Goldstein: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-1pm 3pm-6pm. Tuesday and Thursday 9am-12pm.
Dr. Hedrick has been with the practice since August of 2010. His focus is on the restoration of fluid motion, better health, and creating greater comfort and confidence for his patients. He utilizes chiropractic manipulation, active myo-fascial release and rehab to reduce pain, and to create optimal spinal, soft tissue, and nervous system function. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, IL. Dr. Hedrick also performs energy work for those interested. His approach utilizes a combination of Reiki, 5 Spirit Medicine work and Shamanism. He is currently level 1 and 2 certified in Reiki and has completed the beginning and advanced class work through Sacred Transformations Energy Work. Outside of work, Dr. H enjoys time spent with his canine life companion, surfing, meditation, yoga and anything to do with the outdoors.

Dr. Thompson offers her patients the finest in chiropractic care, sharing with them twelve years of training and experience. She approaches patient care by creating an individual treatment plan that focuses on promoting a healthy spine and lifestyle for each patient.
Dr. Thompson offers general chiropractic care through manual adjusting to the spine and extremities, and as a compliment to the chiropractic care physiotherapy is performed. She is a strong believer in teaching her patients the benefits of regular exercise and recommends rehabilitation exercises to strengthen and correct each unique problem, which in turn helps the body stay in balance and promote good health.
Office hours for Dr. Thompson: Tuesday, Thursday 9am-1pm, 3pm -6pm. Satuday 9-12pm
Dr. Sean Coughlin has been practicing chiropractic for over 25 years. He specializes in soft tissue mobilization and neuromuscular re-education. His post-doctoral education includes first achieving Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S), followed by Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (C.C.S.P.), and the Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (D.A.C.B.S.P). Dr. Sean opened Soft Tissue Therapy in La Jolla in 1998 and joined the Head Neck and Spine Center group in 2012.
Julia Sanfilippo, L.Ac. earned a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in San Diego. She is certified and licensed by the California Acupuncture Board, is a nationally certified massage therapist, and a certified ART™ (Active Release Techniques) Total Body Provider. She is the Official Team Acupuncturist for Breakaway Training; the Official Training Program of the San Diego Triathlon Series and the La Jolla High School Football Team. Most recently she was voted Best Acupuncture and Best Massage by La Jolla Village News for 2012. Julia ran her first 1-mile race when she was 3 years old, and swam competitively on a USS team for 13 years. She has a fundamental connection to the physical body and a great appreciation for overall health. Most importantly, she values balance in life: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Julia’s mission is to promote wellness through acupuncture, herbal medicine and massage therapy.

Maria is our Office Manager and oversees many aspects of office operations and is our primary team member responsible for day to day patient relations, payments, and scheduling.
Tiffany Stansfield Graduated Concord Career Institute 2005 with study in multiple modalities of Massage Therapy. Passing her National Certification soon there after she was then hired at Water and Sports Physical Therapy, where she has works closely with patients, chiropractors and physical therapists to broaden her field of professional therapy. Her areas of expertise include sports therapy, thai massage, deep tissue, A.R.T., injury rehabilation, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, active muscle pumping, Swedish and pregnancy massage. She utilizes these techniques to provide the therapeutic massage you need.
