Professional Background
Dr. Heather Low is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a licensed acupuncturist with nearly a decade of clinical experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, followed by her Master’s degree from AIMC in Berkeley and her Doctorate from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz.
She has worked alongside sports medicine professionals and experienced practitioners of Tuina and herbal medicine throughout the Bay Area.
Approach to Care
Dr. Low’s path into healing began early through caring for her siblings and animals. Her background in competitive gymnastics led to a strong interest in human movement and recovery, which continues to shape her clinical approach today.
After experiencing the benefits of acupuncture firsthand, she committed to the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her approach combines traditional techniques with a practical focus on restoring function, reducing pain, and supporting long-term wellness.
